The Challenge
Communities can remain vulnerable when essential services, local infrastructure and support systems operate in isolation or fail to reach people consistently. A water point, school, health service, livelihood initiative or community facility can only create lasting benefit when it is accessible, maintained, accountable and connected to the people it is intended to serve. Weak coordination, limited local capacity, fragmented information, inadequate maintenance and poor links between communities and institutions can turn useful projects into temporary interventions. Norisha intends to strengthen the systems around communities so that services, infrastructure, information, participation and local ownership work together and remain useful over time.

Women, Caregivers & Household Livelihoods
Determination should have a pathway to sustainable income.
Across many households, women and caregivers combine the responsibility of earning an income with caring for children, older persons and other family members. Their work may already be productive, yet limited access to markets, capital, information, equipment and dependable networks can prevent that effort from becoming a stable livelihood.
Norisha intends to connect verified needs with practical livelihood opportunities, enterprise support, appropriate skills, mentorship and market pathways. The objective is not simply temporary assistance, but stronger household income, greater resilience and progressively more sustainable economic independence.
Unemployed & Underemployed Youth
Ability needs a bridge into real work.
Many young people possess education, energy and ambition but remain outside stable employment. Others work below their capabilities or move between short-term opportunities without a clear route toward progression. The missing link may be practical experience, technical skills, mentorship, professional networks, employer connections or access to a viable enterprise pathway.
Norisha intends to help young people move from potential into participation through skills development, mentorship, workplace exposure, referrals, employment connections and appropriate enterprise opportunities. Training alone is not the destination; the goal is productive work, income and long-term independence.

Enterprise, Markets & Economic Participation
A livelihood becomes stronger when it can reach a real market.
Producing a good or learning a skill is only one part of the livelihood journey. Small traders, producers and emerging entrepreneurs also need customers, information, networks and practical routes into functioning markets. Without that connection, productive effort can remain fragile even when people have the ability and willingness to work.
Norisha intends to support pathways that connect skills and enterprise with market access, mentorship, opportunity networks and longer-term follow-up. The aim is to help people move beyond isolated economic activity toward dependable participation, stronger household income and sustainable livelihoods.
