The Challenge
Poverty, family instability, disability, illness, loss of a caregiver and other forms of vulnerability can interrupt education long before a child's potential is realised. These challenges rarely occur in isolation: financial pressure, unstable home circumstances, poor access to learning materials and limited adult support can combine to place a learner at risk of absenteeism, falling behind or leaving school entirely. Norisha's approach is therefore designed to understand the whole situation around the child and respond through coordinated, verified support rather than a single short-term intervention.

Keeping Potential Alive
A child's ability should not be determined by household hardship.
Norisha intends to identify verified educational needs and connect vulnerable learners with appropriate support, including learning requirements, mentorship, referrals and longer-term follow-up. Early support can prevent a temporary setback from becoming lasting exclusion from education. By working with learners, caregivers, schools and appropriate community partners, Norisha intends to identify barriers early, strengthen attendance and progression, and keep each child's educational journey connected to wider wellbeing, confidence and long-term opportunity.
From Access to Opportunity
Education should prepare young people for a changing world.
Through mentorship, digital exposure, skills development and appropriate partnerships, Norisha intends to help young people build confidence, knowledge and pathways toward productive adulthood. Access to technology alone is not enough; learners also need guidance, responsible digital habits, practical exposure and people who can help them connect what they learn to real opportunities. The aim is to help young people move from basic access toward capability, confidence and meaningful participation in education, work and community life.

Programme Focus
How this programme comes to life
Vulnerable Children Education Support
Long-term education support intended to help vulnerable children remain in school, progress through important learning stages and receive appropriate mentorship and complementary support. The pathway may combine verified educational assistance, school engagement, caregiver follow-up, wellbeing referrals, mentorship and continued monitoring so that challenges are identified early and support can evolve as the learner's circumstances change. The objective is not simply to respond to one immediate need, but to strengthen continuity, confidence and the child's long-term educational journey.
