The Challenge
Health vulnerability rarely affects only the person who is unwell. Serious illness, disability, ageing or mental-health challenges can strain a household's income, caregiving capacity, transport and children's education, especially once continuity of care is needed after a discharge. Many families also struggle to navigate referrals between clinics, hospitals and specialists. Norisha's approach is to verify genuine need, support appropriate referral and navigation through trusted partnerships, and provide non-clinical support and follow-up that helps families remain resilient.

Access to Care, Not Alone
Behind every referral is a health worker helping a family find the right care.
Health professionals help identify a family's needs and make an appropriate referral, then guide them through what services are available and how to reach them. This includes coordination with clinics, hospitals and community partners, continuity of support after a referral, and guidance for caregivers during recovery. Norisha's role is to strengthen this referral, navigation and partnership — not to provide direct clinical treatment — so a family's health stays on track before small concerns become lasting harm.
Dignity Through Every Stage of Care
Serious illness and ageing should not mean facing the system alone.
Norisha intends to help older persons and families managing chronic illness, hospitalization or ICU care navigate referrals, emergency assistance and continuity of support during recovery, including mental-health and post-discharge follow-up. Support intends to include routine health monitoring, appropriate referral and caregiver and family support alongside service navigation. Norisha does not provide direct clinical treatment; the intention is to strengthen access, referral, navigation and partnership with appropriate health and social-support institutions, so that vulnerable older persons and their families retain dignity, connection and steady support through recovery or transition.
